Warranty Coverage Period

The Chery NZ New Vehicle Warranty is 7 years/unlimited kilometres from the first registration date. Demonstrator vehicles carry the balance of the original warranty.
Commercial use: For vehicles primarily used for taxi, ride sharing, rental, courier, hire, or driving school purposes, the warranty period is limited to 7 years or 150,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.
The high-voltage battery is covered under the same terms, with coverage extending to issues where the net residual capacity falls below 70% during the warranty period.

Transfer of Warranty

The warranty is attached to the vehicle and transfers to subsequent owners within the warranty period, provided the vehicle was purchased from an authorised Chery NZ dealer.

Claiming Warranty Repairs To make a claim under this warranty, the owner must deliver the vehicle and the Service Booklet to an authorised Chery NZ dealer at their own expense. After repair completion, the owner must collect the vehicle from the dealer, also at their own expense. Warranty repairs will be conducted by authorised Chery NZ dealers only, during normal business hours, within a reasonable timeframe.
